Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight was the talk of college football Saturday morning but it didn’t have anything to do with his performance with the Sooners.
Knight drew attention when pop star Katy Perry, appearing on ESPN’s College Game Day, said she was picking the Oklahoma-TCU game based on looks and went with the Sooners because of Knight. She twice asked Knight to call her during the segment.
Monday, he had been fully filled in.
“I have not called Katy Perry yet, no sir,” Knight said.
Does he just need her number?
“That’s definitely the first issue there, yeah,” Knight said.
