VIGO CO. Ind. (WTHI) – New details are being released in a domestic disturbance turned deadly.
It was in the early morning hours on Sunday that a couple was found dead inside their eastern Vigo County home.
A tragic series of events took place in the 4000 block North Creal Street, in what appears to be a murder-suicide.
Sources confirm that the couple was married on Saturday less than 24 hours before both were found dead.
The 911 recording depicts the events that unraveled inside the home in the early morning hours of October 5th.
It was around 1:20 a.m. on Sunday Kelly Ecker Samson dialed 911 franticly claiming that her husband threatened to kill her.
“The phone call went dead in a short amount of time. Dispatchers immediately dispatched deputies to the scene,” said Chief Deputy Clark Cottom, with the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office.
Dispatch tries to re-connect the call, but minute’s later Kelly calls back.
When the sheriff’s deputies arrived they found Kelly dead.
Actually, it would be exactly like R&J...if Romeo and Juliet were older and with a 10 year old child. And perhaps if they had serious fights with one another or a formal wedding with guests. Oh, and that murder bit.
