I think it's a great idea if it's not centered around one the more popular character's like Wolverine, Storm, Rogue or Jean Grey. It'd feel more refreshing and original if it was centered around...let's say...a teenage Archangel or a Jubilee, etc.
Like Arrow for example. It works because it shines light on a less known/popular DC Comic character. I mean...how many Superman television shows (both live action and animated) have there been?

It would probably be like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. without the main heroes (centered on mostly unknown/unpopular characters) and explore the universe in another way. Could be really good if done right.

I was thinking about a show that have something to do with the war between mutants and sentinels that led to the events from DOFP.

Well Fox is in deep trouble and might have only 1 show that hasn't dipped below a 2 in the ratings - that show being the Batman prequel. So it makes sense that they would try to sponge off another franchise.

If this was done properly, I would be there every damn week. The X-Men and X-Men Evolution cartoons were my life as a kid.
