Supreme Court DENIES case: SSM now LEGAL in more states
Supreme Court today has denied hearing all cases meaning that the stays put in place by the Circuit Courts that ruled for couples expire.
Since the lower courts ruled for gay couples, the states of Utah, Wisconsin, Virginia, Oklahoma, Indiana have legalized gay marriage. Colorado State Supreme Court has lifted all stays and dismissed the case making it officially legal as of October 7
The other 6 in the Circuit Courts: Kansas, West Virginia, Wyoming, North Carolina, South Carolina are now indefensible since no one not the circuit courts or Supreme Courts wants to touch them, it's only a matter of time
So it directly affects the states who petitioned a review, the rest have to wait a bit, but no chance the haters will have their day; it's the law of the land in many circuits now.
