Well, I'm an Atheist but I'm not going to withhold my answer just because you asked for only religious opinions. The reason being, as an Atheist, I'm coming from a scientific standpoint when I say masturbation is incredibly healthy. It's mentally healthy and it's physically healthy. I don't want to get testicular cancer when I'm older.
From an emotional standpoint, it can be unhealthy, because you can become addicted to ****ography, which can ruin relationships. Or it can alter your perception of how sex should be like in real life, as **** paints an unrealistic picture of sex. However it's important to note that regular masturbation every 1-2 days and ****ography addiction are two completely separate things.
Well, in religion it is. It goes along with the whole don't covet thy neighbors wife which isn't literally your friends wife. It's lusting at anyone or any act of sex out of marriage. So yeah, but oh well!

Doesn't really matter. In the eyes of Catholics, sex is meant to happen with a man and a woman after being married. Not with your hand and a bottle of lube. But then again, who follows the rules!
