American Sniper is good, solid Clint Eastwood. Very commercial. Lots of well shot action. Could be a big hit for WB. Cooper is very good.

Sniper is OK. Sort of flat. A string of tense battle scenes strung together. Cooper is pretty good. Sienna Miller in thankless role.

There's no doubt that Chris Kyle was a hero but unfortunately AMERICAN SNIPER misses the mark.
the Best Actor category is pretty tough right now. (Eddie Redmayne, Michael Keaton, Steve Carrell, Benedict Cumberbatch, etc.) Would be surprised if Cooper gets nominated but I hope the film is good!
