It also isn't fair that the judge is using her and Joe as an "example." Celebrities shouldn't be treated more leniently than ordinary people, but they also shouldn't be treated more severely and used as an "example."

They had 41 counts of fraud and theft amongst them. They filed papers to the court MONTHS late. They tried to hide assets from the judge (saying ALL her jewelry was costume for TV/their furniture was rented for TV) and that's not including the $13 million they owe/wanted the taxpayers to bail them out on.
They aren't serving at the same time. I'm sure T will go first, to have her's done with.

The REAL stinger is they were denied a bailout, so they have to pay their bankruptcy in total. To the amount of 13 MILLION dollars. Teresa only get's about a million a season (only, lol, but in contrast)
