Paramore's Hayley Williams has hit out at boyband One Direction for allegedly plagiarising a New Found Glory song.
The frontwoman, 26, posted a series of tweets accusing the pop group of ripping off 2006 single "It's Not Your Fault" for their new track "Steal My Girl".
"Beginning of that new 1D song couldn't sound any more like the beginning of New Found Glory's 'It's Not Your Fault'," she wrote.
"I realise that I'm gonna get hate from a very large fanbase for that, but really, it has more to do with whoever pitched or co-wrote the song."
I hate when other artists do this. One Direction doesn't produce their own music. There's about a 1% chance they even know who New Found Glory is (I do and love them btw).

Call out the producers, not the artists.

Well true, but since its a "1D song" she is obviously going to bring them into this & they will be mentioned b4 the producer or writers etc.
She and her boyfriend, Chad Gilbert have been getting into twitter war with Directioners for the last few days. Surprised it was not previously mentioned at atrl.
I did read everything. I saw her statement when it first came out.
I follow a site that has a much larger rock fanbase than this one, and they were all attacking 1D. But in general, people always call out the artists for attention, and not the producer.
