Break out the Timbits and add some extra cheese curds to that poutine, Spotify is finally available in Canada. The music streaming giant officially invited Canadian music fans to the club on Tuesday, bringing Spotify to its 58th nation worldwide.
The popular service is available on mobile, tablet and desktop, with free access to millions of songs. Or spend $10 CAD per month for no ads and downloadable playlists.
For Canada, Spotify made sure to beef up its catalogue of local music, including a comprehensive library of songs from French-speaking Quebec. "This is a Spotify that has been tailor made for Canadian music fans," said chief content officer Ken Parks in a statement.
