Bérénice Lim Marlohe (who played Severine) was basically a C-list nobody who did french TV police dramas. She was mostly cast for looks, as per usual for most bond girls. Rihanna has the looks, as indicated by Bond himself.
Let's not go in on the fact that most Bond girls have been models. Acting has never been that big of a requirement for Bond girls. You should know.
