Call Prince an international man of mystery if you'd like, but on his new song 'Valentina,' he's absolutely clear on who he's singing about -- actress Salma Hayek.
The track is sung to and named after Hayek's 18-month old daughter, whom she had with her husband, French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault. Depending on your interpretation, the words to 'Valentina' are either a tribute to Hayek's beauty or, well, an overt declaration of his desire for her. The Purple One sings, "Hey Valentina, tell your mama she should give me a call/ When she get tired of runnin' after you down the hall/And she's all worn out from those late-night feedings/and she's ready for another rock and roll meeting." He then goes on to tell the child how hot her mom is, talks about her curves and how everyone wants her. If that's not a MILF, then we don't know one.
The attraction isn't just something Prince developed from watching 'Frida' or 'Desperado'; Hayek directed the video for Prince's 'Te Amo Corazón,' the first single off 2006's '3121.' Should the romantic plea not work out, he also adds a line about Hayek's best friend: "If Penelope wants to Cruz there ain't no way that we ain't gon' dance," he sings. Unfortunately for Prince, Penelope Cruz is currently involved with 'No Country for Old Men' star Javier Bardem.
