That's because it would take literally years to be able to guess the passcode through brute force methods. Even adding an additional character to your password could extend that. I hate lockouts. However, I think they should lock someone out who's tried 100 times and still can't remember their password yet they are still trying. I like two factor authentication like Google has had on gmail for awhile now. I've never had an iCloud break in. I had 3 gmail break ins previously. I think Apple should've been more proactive.
New Security Flaw in in-app browsing
Apple recently added support for developers to have in-app browsers. That means you get a better browsing experience in side of apps than before as it allows users to take advantage of Nitro javascript engine. However, as a result there are some security issues with entering password information into these in-app browsers. The apps can get users information entered in to any site used in the in-app browser.
