Celeb News: Max George joins GLEE

The Wanted's Max George has been photographed on the set of Glee with original cast member Mark Salling.

The photo seemingly confirms recent reports that Max will indeed be appearing in the final season of the popular US comedy-drama.

Mark, who plays McKinley High's resident bad boy Noah 'Puck' Puckerman, was dressed in uniform while playing on a drum set. Next to him was Max, who clutched a bottle of water while wearing a grey tracksuit.

Mark posted the photo to Twitter last night, saying: "Jammin with the homie @maxgeorge in the Sawditorium. Been told once or a million times that we look alike."

Since taking a hiatus with The Wanted, 'Glad You Came' singer Max has been focusing his sights on an acting career.

Last week (12 September), reports emerged that Max would be joining Glee after he pulled out of a personal appearance at a nightclub. When a Twitter user asked why George pulled out, Tiger Tiger Portsmouth replied: "We were told he has to fly to LA to appear in Glee. Filming was brought forward."

Nope. The show is ending after Season 6 which starts next year. However, it wasn't cancelled. It was signed for 6 seasons, and it was actually Ryan Murphy's decision to end the show after Season 6, not Fox. It is still hugely profitable for them and their most-watched show in it's target demographic.

LOL, are you Ryan Murphy?

This year it averaged less than a 1.0 in the 18-49 demographic.
Murphy can claim that he was the one who wanted it to end, but its flop ratings are why it's ending.
I can't see how it's hugely profitable in other ways given that it can't even chart in the H100 anymore.

Kevin Reilley confirmed at the Fox Upfronts and at Comic Con that Fox were willing to renew the show for a seventh season, but Ryan Murphy decided to stop after Season 6, but you tried though.

And even though it's ratings have dropped since 2010/2011, it is still Fox's highest-watched scripted show for it's demographic so they aren't desperate to get rid of it.
