A woman named Julia has started a #JusticeForJulia hash tag after she claims that Washington D.C. police brutalized her, raped her and then destroyed her rape kit.
I seriously hope this goes viral, because I know for a fact not many news stations will report this.
Can something be done about police brutality and how they treat people like crap, doing as they please.
They're supposed to protect and serve, but they're one of the most deadliest gangs in the world.
I'm a little conflicted about this, when she says they're trying to break into her house and the Baltimore cops are also in on it kinda seems a bit farfetched. I mean that's a lot of people involved for not one honest person to come forward.
I feel bad for her, I hope whatever the case it works out for her
Wouldn't surprise me, I remember a story a while back about an officer (I think just 1) taking some drunk teen in the back seat of the car and raping her at a gas station or something. Surprised this isn't more widespread tbh, it's natural that when you give a group of people so much power and put them above the law, so to speak, that they will abuse it. It's one of the many things that, being sort of like a parent to my two nieces, I fear for them growing up in this society.
