In light of homophobic comments recently made by her former bandmate Yulia Volkova, t.A.T.u.'s Lena Katina has taken to Facebook to explain her views on gay rights and equality:

How brave of her to come out in defense of gay rights when she is a public figure in a country where this could get her imprisoned. She is amazing.

She's grown up to become such a mature adult and Yulia's still stuck in her teen mindset
