Coming inside to an air-conditioned room on a hot sunny day. For some reason, air conditioning enhances the shade. It's not just about "ahhh, it's darker in here" - it's about being cooler too. Plus if it's super sunny and you come inside, you see black dots when you blink for a few seconds while your eyes adjust to the new-found shade, and you realise just how sunny it was outside.
