My earliest memory is very vague, but I remember visiting Six Flags with family when I was three years old, and crying because I wanted to go on a rollercoaster.
I know people will say I was too young to actually remember this but I was a baby, sitting in my high chair at dinner time and my mom gave me green beans to eat. I was feeding myself so I was probably 1-2. I have really good long term memory, I remember so many things from when I was young.
According to all the psychology classes I've taken you can't remember anything before a little before age 3. So all you saying 1
My earliest memory is of my grandpa that died when I was about 3. I'm good I have one of him at least
Actually this is often argued by doctors/psychologists etc.
Some people say it is possible to even remember your own birth and many of the accounts of this sound very genuine so I don't believe it's a rule set in stone that says it's impossible to not recall anything before the age of three.
I think my earliest memory was when I was around 2 or 3, when my dad was being abusive to my mom. Another thing I remember was me being in the middle of the field and an airplane flying over my head. I was sooooo ****ing scared! My other earliest memory was being molested, I was like 4.

Not to sound insensitive (I'm very sorry for both of those things that you've said) but it never fails to astound me how open people seem to be about things on this forum

What a load of crap.
I can clearly remember my first birthday. And when I told my mom she was shocked but agreed I was correct. Like mentioned before, and even in my psych classes you can remember things before 3.

Its really easy to create false memories though. Parents just telling their kids stories of their early childhood will make someone think they actually remember it. Some people might have this level of maturation earlier than others but no one remembers their birth
GotSkill is half right. Memories before 3 are usually false memories but its possible to remember them
I remember sleeping in my room and the light was on in the hallway and my door was half closed so it made a reflection on my wall that resembled a roach. I was scared. I was also 2 years old and my parents confirmed this lol
