it certainly was made a lot bigger than it deserved to be, it was obviously an honest mistake and one that doesn't deserve so much attention

Of course there was something to apologize for. He was being arrogant and rude to paying customers. It becomes an issue when people keep shrugging off Kanye's tantrums and constant disrespect. His music is good but I'd be damned if I'm disrespected.

I definitely agree with the media part

The Media didn't start anything, people from that Sydney show were tweeting in shock about what happened and the media just reported the story. He did call people who were wheelchair users handicapped and he did send his security guard to check if one fan is actually in a wheelchair after she was called out by Kanye for not standing up during the show.

He's sick

All he did was ask people to stand up "unless you're handicapped", and as soon as he saw that 2 people in the crowd were handicapped he started the song. The media made it sound like he demanded that a crippled person stand up after finding out that they were crippled And according to people who were there it was funny and the handicapped person was laughing. I don't see the issue

I just deleted a huge sure-to-gain-me warning points rant on the state of his life, but more or less the fact that he's rich and happened to make a career music work does not a genius make - and every statement/action by him only proves this.

Why he thinks he has the right to make paying customers stand to the extent where he's halting his show to do so, I don't know.

First of all, the word handicapped is an insult by its own and then when two people didn't stand up because they couldn't do that and people were trying to tell him that they are in wheelchairs, he still didn't believe it and send his security guard to be his eye, how embarrassing that must have been for those people?

And when he had the opportunity to clear things up, he goes on into another rant about how badly he's being treated by the media and people should feel sorry for him because he has a lot of issues to deal with.

In his twisted mind, yes this is supposed to be his apology because he knows he did wrong but he wont admit it.
