Yes, he lives here. In 1905 the governor said it was illegal to shoot sasquatches in a certain province. Now why, in the 19th century, would they make it illegal to shoot these creatures? Clearly they existed.

No, it was a guy in a gorilla suit. The guy who dressed up as him in 1958 came out a few years ago and showed everyone his costume. He was super old and wanted to get credit before he died/wanted to see the world's reaction.

Wow... a Navy shouldn't spread these misconceptions. Bigfoot existed way before 1958, I just gave an example from 1905 above you can read the full history elsewhere, native culture also has stories of such creatures. There's also the Abominable Snowman of the Himalayas, the Orang-Dalam of Malaysia or the Yeren of China. And lastly, other large ape-like creatures have been proven to exist, such as gorillas, chimps, orang-utangs and Gigantopithecus.
