Ive been thinking about this for a while, and although its basically common sense that you will never know every person in this world but once you think into it its really mind blowing

we are only exposed to such an insignificant amount of people in our lives, all the people we know and meet from lives, family, friends, teachers, your starbucks barista, all the strangers in the street etc throughout your entire life may seem like a crazy amount of people, but in reality they weren't even part of the .005% of the worlds population.

i dont know how to explain this easily. but i know what im thinking about. its just crazy to think about how huge this world truly is and how there are so many people out there and everyone is different and has their stories its amazing to think about. and how many chances we might miss out on not knowing different people from any part of the world.

also, everything is so insignificant, your small hometown is literally a piece of sand to the world

That is true but even the amount of people we have interacted with on the internet/atrl/stan forums is nothing compared to the rest of the world's population on the internet

yeah it's amazing to think of how many people around the world we get to interact with because of the internet. I can chat with someone who lives halfway around the world and who I'll probably never actually meet IRL or even be in the same country as. That's some crazy ****.

I've always found that crazy.


Like, for example, we will all (luckily) end up finding the love of our life/our match/the one/whatever in that little group of people we get to know anyways. Maybe if we got to know every person in the planet everything would be different

exactly my point. like we only fall in love with the people that happen to cross our paths, we could fall in love with so many other people in the world

also, that one guy you see in public saying 'he is the hottest guy ive ever seen' , there are millions of other guys 10x hotter than him all around the world and we will never meet or know of each other's existance.

Right?

Also, maybe someone, somewhere around the world, looks exactly like you do, and you'll never get to see them

i swear i saw another guy who looked basically identical to me from the side of his face. it was in july at a florida airport, he caught my attention after i could have gotten a better look at his face. but same head shape, nose etc

also i wonder how many strangers have written things about me on the internet just like i just did to the kid i saw at the airport
