I don't get it. You sometimes get C's, B's, A's and also a "S".

What do they mean???

Is "S" a good ranking when you beat a chapter? Is there something better? I need help!!! EEK!

Played it, but I hated the story. As a huge RE fan, the game was a letdown.

I heard it was the same as RE4

I'm still playing it. I don't like how they are straying away from the origin of the "Umbrella" story. Same with RE4. As the game goes though, this is the best game EVER! <3.

If you liked RE4, you for sure will like this. Same exact almost story. Was Umbrella even in the 4th one? Only the first three were, then they are randomly making up plots for the 4th and 5th. Like how people are abusing the virus in thier culture...

So far though this is a great game. I just beat the Furnace boss battle. It was sooooo easy once I figured it out. (I had to kill my partner in the process XD)

By the way, RE4 and RE5 are like spawns or a spin-off of Resident Evil 1-3.

It's kind of like Prince of Persia. The first three (Sands of Time, Warrior Within, Two Thrones) all had the same story line pretty much. Then when I got the lastest stallment of Prince of Persia on PS3, I was like kind of let down. It had nothing like the past three games. It was so random and it took forever for me to get into it.

There was no reversing time in it and there wasn't even a "plot." It was just a fantasy game where you fought a few bosses (the same ones over and over and over again until a point where they could die) then you had to go around collecting seeds.

Compared to the first three POP, I was very much so let down with the lastest one, but I grew to like it in a different sense.

I hate how in Resident Evil (back on topic) they disposed the whole "zombie" story line in the latest two. Now it's like they are only attacking you. They are infected, but not with the T-Virus. They move like humans almost but with rage.

But every story can't just keep going on and on, soon enough the story must end and then due to the franchise success they have to spawn it or just not end it. But this is what consumers want. They want more. They can't keep going on with the Umbrella storyline if they ended it in the third?

That's why the latest two storylines take place in a different setting. Africa and Europe? I forgot...then they throw in a new plot and how they use the same virus but manipulate it to make new "zombie-like" creatures.

Meh...

I Loved Resident Evil 2 and 3

I loved RE:3. Nemesis. Its one of my favorite video games ever. It was scary lol i loved the part when Nemesis came out of the window it always scared me lol

Not for PS2

RE needs to go back to it's roots. RE2 was the best one. If they could make an updated version of that..it would be amazing.

I have the demo for the 360, it was alright, but I'm not as impressed as I was with Dead Rising.

RE4 was by far the best RE ever. No contest.

That even includes RE5. My friend bought it. I played some of it. It is pretty good, but it doesn't hold a candle to RE4 which is one of my favorite games ever.

I will still get it sometime next week though as it is still good and I would recommend it to anyone who liked RE4.

Definitely NOT. It wasn't scary at all...it didn't even stay true to what Resident Evil is. GREAT standalone game. WORST RE game.

I'm not sure if that comment was directed at RE4 or 5, but the same answer applies. RE4 had some scary moments (not so much in 5 though). Anyway, the gameplay is so much better now than it was back then. I wish they would actually find a way to combine that with some of the great parts of the earlier games. But taking the games for what they are, I find RE4 to be the best game of the series. If you disagree, that is fine. Since it was such a different game back then, maybe the change seemed awkward to you.

RE4 and RE5 are spawns of the earlier RE storys. I wouldn't even put them in the same categories as the first three. The first three are completely different storys.

If you paid attention to the plot, they created a new virus called "Las plagas" or something in Europe that originated from the Umbrella mess.

Comparing RE4 and RE5 to RE1,2&3 is like comparing Jessica Simpson's first three albums to her Country album.

Though I do miss the slow zombies trying to eat you...
