I'd suggest you waited until after next month. If they don't announce new ones by then, then go for it.

You're not going to see new models again until probably summer 2015 when Intel releases their new line of processors.

tbh it's not worth it all. go on HP and customize a PC yourself and it'll have better specs than a Mac book and it'll be cheaper too.

I have a Mac laptop and it's served me well the last three years, but I think I'll get something I can actually game on next. Mac is literally just a brand.

Except 1) it'll run Windows 8 2) it won't run OS X 3) the build quality will suck and 4) it'll need repairs a year into it.

Not really... Macs are the only computers that can run OS X. It's one of the main buying points.

I strongly recommend the MacBook Air: I think it's the best laptop ever made, as long as your needs don't transcend it's abilities.
