A lot of the things need to be addressed/fixed, but the way it's being done by the exact people you described is beyond annoying. Like they need to take a seat.

Well I wouldn't call it a trend but yeah. They have valid points but they take it all to an extremity where it's hard to take them seriously (and I mean the type of social justice warriors who will literally do ANYTHING in their power to nitpick something, not the ones who put people in their place when they need to be.)

That's not the point. The point is that some people take it too far and are ready and anticipating being offended by nearly anything.Even if the intention/connotation isn't that at ALL.

Yes. It's honestly the worst. I have really dark humor and I can't even make a simple joke without people going up in arms.

Well there has to be a sweet spot... because there is a LOT of **** that needs to be called out!

But at the same time, some tumblr users take it too far (but you must realize some are also trolls looking to make the "liberal agenda" look bad), and that delegitimizes the instances where people actually need to be called out for being racist or sexist or homophobic. It's sort of like how feminism has been given a reputation as "man hating" because a few extremists co-opted the term.
