Observation: It's interesting to hear that she's lost some of that inherent "lightness" to her voice since the 4 era (pregnancy and birth of Blue). If she were to sing CIL today, although the notes would be the same, they wouldn't be as bright and "brassy"as they are here. After 4, her voice has acquired more undertones, and she's settling into a much lower tessitura. Beyonce used to be a light-lyric mezzo up until the end of the I AM...Sasha era, now it looks like she's venturing into full-lyric territory with this current era. It's going to be exciting to hear how she sounds on her next record!
