What are some good ways to ask if someone is gay
(but not indicate that yourself is gay)
How would you incorporate this question into an everyday discussion
"So, what kind of people are you into?"
"My ex was [......] (crazy, ugly, etc.) what about yours?"
And they'll hint at their sexuality
Or basically state your sexuality and ask if they're fine with it. They'll either say, "Oh, it's fine. I am too" or something like that. Asking if they bought ARTPOP is fine to.

Try to slyly bring dating into the conversation, like say something along the lines of "Your girlfriend might like this" or "Have you been on a lot of dates with girls lately" or "what female celebrities do you think are hot" etc. because if they're gay (and open about it) then they'll correct you and say oh I don't have a girlfriend, I'm gay or I don't like girls.
What's your reason for wanting to know? Because if you want to wheel them, just start making very subtle moves and see how they react. I always do this and only once in my life have I found myself in an uncomfortable situation. Most straight guys won't notice, most gay guys (that are into you too) will flirt back.
Once my bf asked me if I was gay and it was so out of blue that I looked like:

and mess. The only real way is to ask are you gay. Straight people ask gays all the time and it doesn't mean they themselves are gay . Unless you barely know the person then ask, then it kinda seems like you wanna get with them
