Would this POP (and gay) ANTHEM released back in 2008 by the J-Pop Queen Koda Kumi smashed if was released worldwide with an english version?

Personally, I think so.
This is my favorite song EVER so I'm very curious about what do you think guys, this song was so avant-garde when it was released and, still now, is pop perfection imo.

Doubt it would've done anything, there's already so much western music like it, and her tone of voice doesn't stand out. Even in Japan it wasn't that big compared to her other singles.

I was talking about 2008 tho, dance music was just about to take off at that time, that's why I said that (in 2008) this was avant-garde.
