OMG!!! After all the hype and buzz of the VMA performance for the whole album, she only sold 14k for this week! This is so unreal. Even if she won the AOTY at the grammy's, I don't think it can sell more than 100k the week after (21 sold 730K the week after it won).
What's the reason behind this? Is the album lacking in quality? The promo is on point but it's not selling. Why?
She doesn't need to sell more because everyone already knows this album, which now can be considered a classic in pop history and a game changer. She achieved everything she wanted with this album, so it's a success. I'm sure that even if she didn't even sell 2k by now she would still have money to gift every person on earth a pot of glue so we can put our wigs on point for the next era.
When do these kind of threads finally stop? BEYONCÉ was a great success, 2x plat in these days in hard to reach. She did great this era so stop making it look like it is a 'flop' or 'struggling' when other major artists can't even reach plat these days ... you guys are laughable.
Why did you expect an almost 9 month old album to sell a bunch of copies.
The hive didn't. But you can stay worrying more about an already double platinum, minimally promoted album & you can stay worried more about our fave than us.
Lack of hits and promo tbh. She's done well in the US, but WW she's failed to sell a significant number of albums because of this. Releasing an alber during a tour is never a good idea.

WHen I saw Beyonce top 15...I just knew this would come.
I expected top 10 and mainly top 5 with the lack of competition but I do think whoever wanted it got it.
It's just promo is for those casual fans, bandwagon fans that will support with promo and hype.
The core audience already has it.
The fickle fans that felt their thirst quenched already has it.
