Hottie and the Nottie is such a great movie. I love it.

I pretty much agree with it all, EXCEPT Paris winning Worst Supporting Actress in Repo... are you ****ing kidding me? She's was surprisingly GREAT in that movie. Giving Paris that "award" just for being Paris solidifies the fact that the Razzies are a contrived waste of time.

Agreed...Even the critics agreed Paris shined very much in that film. I (being a fan even!) was VERY surprised at how good her performance was in that film.

And "The Hottie & The Nottie" was also a good comedy, it was smart and funny while being silly. And Paris was good in that film as well. The Razzie's don't know **** about bad actors/actresses.

So are the Oscars. In the end, it is all just someone else's opinion being forced on everyone else.

I didn't watch Repo so I will not comment on it. Since I did see some critics that said she was good, I'll take their word for it. However, the Hottie and the Nottie is an awful movie. I did have the displeasure of watching that total garbage.

So only chosen-by-people awards should exist?
These awards are chosen by people who KNOW the techniques of movie making and story telling, most of the movies nominated are GOOD because technically, scientifically they ARE GOOD. The fact that other people's opinion doesn't match up with the Academy's doesn't mean they are wrong. Many times we like things that are not objectively good.

The Love Guru is such a good entertaining movie...yet the audience knew it was crap.
