50 Cent's latest album 'Before I Self Destruct' was bizarrely inspired by the public breakdown of Britney Spears, Fiddy has explained.

The G-Unit star revealed that it was seeing the troubled singer falling to pieces that influenced the writing for his fourth long-player, as she famously shaved off her hair in front of the paparazzi in 2007.

"She [Britney] was the greatest show on earth last year." 50 Cent told OK! Magazine. "She was going through her issues in public... It was great to watch her spin out of control because it makes the average person feel better."

'Before I Self Destruct' has been delayed numerous times, but should be on shelves on March 24.
