In April & May 2014, Martin produced Ariana Grande's song "Problem" and Jennifer Lopez's song, "First Love", alongside Ilya, Shellback and Savan Kotecha. "Problem" was the fastest selling single on iTunes, until Martin's collaboration with the undisputed queen of the world, Taylor Swift, impacted the store in August that year.
