The pacing was way too fast for two people who are only just meeting each other, but that's not her fault. It's no one's fault really, it's just that director's style...sort of like how Quentin Tarantino has his own unique style. I don't think realism was what they were going for though.
She was good though. Her look really suits that period of time.
