Duffy is set to ditch her 60s themed songs for her second album, reports say.
Although praised for her debut album Rockferry, it would appear the Welsh singer is looking to huge stars like Mariah Carey or Christina Aguilera, for inspiration on the sequel.
"Duffy and the team around her are very aware at how successful she has been by channelling the '60s vibe, but they are already starting to think about album number two." A source tells the Daily Star.
"She is keen to explore a Mariah or Christina Aguilera style of album. On the next record Duffy can afford to be a bit more experimental now that she is assured her position as a singing force to be reckoned with."
I think that I would like her music more if she were to head that route, but I think that it would be great if she could keep some of her soulful music in her records.
Daily Star is a tabloid. Anytime they quote a source you know they made it up. Duffy doesn't have the voice to make pop music. She is just another soul singer knockoff.
