I'm pretty sure she wasn't expecting to be called the names she was and plastered all over tabloids just so she can release a single. This was obviously already planned prior to the weight mess.

And Reeces, she performed / promoted the song on Ellen, The Early Show, GMA, and at several country events.

So yes, she bothered. But you're right, a video should've been done to further that promotion.

Oh, I didn't know she promoted the song. Other than the video, I don't know what went wrong. The song had potential IMO.
