'Love Story' has already gone Top10 in Australia & New Zealand and it's set to become a big hit in the UK, aided by a 'International Remix', which removes most of the country twang.

Okay, so it's more likely she'll be this year Sara Barellis (have one hit then vanish), but as she is branded a Country artist this is still a pretty big deal!

This really surprises me. Country really only does good in the US. (Which I don't have any clue why... ) So it's good to see Taylor doing good in Aussie.

I think Dixie Chicks may have had a bit of success out of the US, too. But still, it's amazing that Taylor is doing it!

b)I guess I could understand how she could be considered overrated. She's a good writer and a pretty mediocre singer. The thing I like most about her is her writing style. The form of narrative she uses is something that's different to anything else in pop right now, but it's basically the backbone of country. So when compared to other modern country acts like Carrie Underwood or my personal fave Miranda Lambert I think she falls short but she's definitely is more pop than them which is why she's better able to crossover than they are and I don't really mind it. As I stated before I think she's head and shoulders over anyone else in pop so I'm glad she's doing well.

Also her album,Fearless, leaped 13 places last week from #21 to 8 in Australia which is really impressive. "Love Story" spent most of this past week at #2 on iTunes so hopefully she'll be able to get in the top 5 this week.

What I found pretty suprising is that Teardrops On My Guitar didnt explode outside US, its not country and its written A HIT all over its face.
