Pop star Rita Ora has signed up as a coach on The Voice – months after rejecting a £1million offer from Simon Cowell to star on this year’s X Factor.
The singer, 23, whose hits include RIP and How We Do, has agreed a six-figure deal and BBC bosses are preparing to make the announcement.

A show insider said: “Rita is the pop star of the moment, the Beeb are delighted. They think she’s going to be a ratings hit and even more popular than Kylie.
“It has taken months of negotiations but Rita is happy and thinks the show is a much better fit for her than The X Factor.
“She’ll still be able to get on with her music and it won’t take over her life as much as The X Factor.”
She says that she doesn't want to do a contest reality show because she saw how much it ruined Jessie J's career, then less than a year later she goes on the EXACT same show as Jessie. fffffff
This show doesn't have the time commitment as X factor so that's why she's doing it. She has made herself a multi millionaire and proven herself a smart businesswoman, I'm sure she knows what's best for her career.

The X Factor UK is basically 3 months of promo, lets the public know your personality and can make you A list overnight. You get more money and so much free stuff from sponsors, and it's higher ratings.
The Voice UK is all about the money. You do so little work, get a little bit of promo, yet still get a substantial bit of money. You can work it around your schedule because it is a small commitment of time, and it is seen by the public as being a higher calibre of talent so you keep 'credibility'.
I don't like her and think it will ruin her career but I can see why she would do it. You never know, she could have a personality transplant and come across well but I can see her acting exactly like Jessie and we know how that worked out.
