Huzzah, after lovely break, it has returned! The eighth edition of the lyric writing contest shall be held March 7 (why yes, a weekend day!). Aren't ya'll excited!
Ya knows the rules:
(1) sign-up here by Valentines Day (the 14th)
(2) send me via pm at least a title to the entry by February 25th
(3) send the actual lyrics by March 6 (yep, an extended deadline)
(4) the contest will start at 7pm MST March 7, and voting begins immediately after the final song is posted. Your ballot (depending on total entries submitted) will be due by 7pm March 8 with the results going up starting at 7:30.
(5) please, only sign up if you actually will compete. don't just sign up and then on the 25th bail out. or the 6th. I will be considering not allowing people to compete who habitually sign up and fail to compete if this becomes a problem for the...what, 4th straight contest. of course, that would take effect on the 9th contest.
So, sign up and get to writing!
