Celebrity fragrance sales for Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift stink
No one wants to smell like Eau de Brat.
Perfume giant Elizabeth Arden blamed pop singers Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift for stinking up financial results in the latest quarter.
Arden’s stock tanked nearly 25 percent on Tuesday after the company cited a worse-than-expected slide in its celebrity fragrance business — namely, two of its biggest stars.
“The decline in sales of celebrity fragrances, particularly the Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift fragrances, was steeper than anticipated,” the company said in a statement.
