personally, I do think they exist, but not that they have visited earth
It is very likely that somewhere in the vastness of the universe that other intelligent civilizations exist. However, we have not noticed any yet, and this could be for a plethora of different reasons.

i believe they do. humanity keeps discovering more species, planets, stars and whatnot. and there's still so much to be explored. i refuse to believe we're the only intelligent species in the universe (cause if we are then theres not much hope left for the galaxy)

Given the billions of planets out there, the chances of extraterrestrial life not existing is pathetically low. But nah, I doubt they're anywhere near us.
Of course, I don't think it's even up to debate. It's ridiculous to think we are the only living organisms in the universe. eadbanana: However, I don't think we've ever been visited.

If you were a gorilla, you would think about humans as short, pale, big-headed and always one step ahead of you. That's what we think about aliens. They're short and have big eyes. Scientists say people are going to have bigger brains and eyes in future since we're still receiving more and more information. They have short legs and arms - we won't need them in future since everything will be computerized. Also, they are hairless - we won't need hair too. Aliens are just humans on another level. We're currently between monkeys and aliens. We're all humans.
