Is Cindy McCain set to join the cast of "Dancing With the Stars" for the upcoming season?

Numerous sources on the Web including Access Hollywood and the New York Post's Page Six have reported that McCain has been approached by the show.

"Just before Thanksgiving, Cindy McCain started talks with producers to appear as a dancer on the show, a source told Page Six. "She wanted to do it very badly."

But according to the publication, husband Sen. John McCain "put the kibosh on it."

Cindy McCain is no stranger to the entertaiment world as she has competed in beauty pageants in the past. She landed the title of Junior Rodeo Queen of Arizona in 1968.

I think it would way more interesting to see Sarah Palin doing Dancing With The Stars, can you imagine? it would be all over the media.
