The song is horrible (the worst in her discography) and would've flopped like Judas did and the album would've sold less.

It would flop the only thing that would attract the GP to that song is the Chorus

Well with the current verses it would have floppped harder than G.U.Y. But with relatable verses and this killer chorus it would have slayed. And some work on the production would have been great.

Hard to say, it could have been a disaster or maybe people would have embraced it's weirdness. She played everything so safe this era we don't know how people would have responded to more eccentric singles/videos

It would have flopped. DWUW and Applause were the ONLY songs which had potential. But its a good song nontheless.

It would have damaged her brand even more. ARTPOP was only a mild flop because it had Applause to boost its sales; had she gone with Aura, which is far less accessible, we'd be holding an eulogy for ha career by now.

If G.U.Y. flopped (and it is a pretty good song), Burqa would have only lived off initial hype and sold way less than Applause.

And judas wasn't a flop, was huge in europe, maybe the radio audience in the usa was pathetic, but the song sold 2.5M ww.

The album would do much worse than with Applause as the lead.

It'd have sold less than G.U.Y. and ARTPOP would've sold less than Lotus and Warrior.

We would've been lucky to hit 200k for the first week album sales
