I loved it for a while back in October, but I got sick of it pretty fast. It's getting released here in January, and they've been nominated for the BBC Sound of 2009. They're up against Florence & The Machine and Lady Gaga. Can't see them winning, but I see this being a moderate hit in our country. I'd say top 20 at least.
It did ok in Australia. It has been added to Radio 1's 1- upfront list, if they A list it then it should do well. I heard it in november I think, I only started liking it today though. I don't know why I ddin't like it b4. They were no.4 on the sound of 2009, florence is no.3
The album is all sorts of fantastic. This is how music should sound. It's a shame ATRL will ignore this band.
Well generally speaking electro-pop music is becoming more popular. I love it personally, Lady GaGa, Ladyhawke, MGMT, Lily Allen etc It keeps getting better!
Of course, I refer to Empire's song. I don't really think "Electric Feel" is that great, either, but it made my top 40 based on just how catchy it is, if that tells you anything.
