Can someone educate me on how student loans exactly work? pls

I'm just starting college in a few months so not yet obviously. My parents set 10k for me for college which will probably get me through like 1 year. Im so worried about it though, I should just move to Europe while I still can

College in the US is super expensive. We're still young so most people can't afford it. But banks are willing to pay your college for you if you pay them back with a loan. In the end it costs even more than the already ridiculous amount.

That depends on where you get your loans from.

Most have you pay back the loans six months after you graduate.

It depends on the type of loan, you have subsidize and unsubsidized along with where you're getting the money from.

Un means that you starting gaining interest as soon as you take it, I believe
and Sub means that it's 6 months after you graduate.
