Hi everyone, I would like to know if you have Raynaud's Disease, which is a condition in which your fingers and toes change colour when you are exposed to cold temperatures i.e. go white, purple and then red, they also go numb or feel like there's pins and needles in your fingers or toes or vice versa, I would also like to know how it affects you and what you do to treat it, I am 100% positive that I have it as my fingers go like that in cold temperatures and it annoys me so much as I can't do much for it, I wear gloves when I'm in cold temperatures but that doesn't help. I'm so frustrated, I hate having it.
I don't have it, but I've had patients who have RD. Going into their rooms, it was extremely hot. Not only was the heater on, but the heat from the machines (ventilators and such) would generate heat. It helped them deal with their condition so much (but they obviously had other illnesses that had them stay in the hospital for an extended period of time).
