The U.S. plane had been flying in international airspace, conducting an electronic eavesdropping mission on the Russian military, when the Russians took the unusual action of beginning to track it with land-based radar.

The Russians then sent at least one fighter jet into the sky to intercept the aircraft, the U.S. official said Saturday.

Everything isn't about money. Strategy is also crucial. All you need are a couple nukes in key areas. I mean, look at the Cuban missile Crisis.

It seems like you are trying to make this happen, rather than it actually happening.

If the US's equipment is outdated, I can guarantee that Russia's is 10x moreso.

The US is not outdated sis

And it's not like any of those South America / Caribbean countries stand a chance against us, lets be honest. Especially when we have way stronger allies then them

There is not a single factor in which Russia could rival the US.

Their economy is doing somewhat better, but that is coming off 4 decades where they really couldn't invest in their military.

Russia only has any power because NATO/China/US don't care enough to really stop them.
