Slipknot Stream 'The Negative One,' Their First New Song in Six Years

Masked metal group Slipknot have posted the speedy new song, "The Negative One," streaming on their website, which ostensibly offers a preview of what fans can expect on their upcoming fifth LP, their first since 2008's All Hope Is Gone. Over a slithery guitar riff and chunky rhythm, vocalist Corey Taylor sings about the "Lord of Lies" and a chorus that ends with "opposing sides, your choices are the negative one and me." The group will release a video for the song on August 5th.
