Rita Ora & Vic Mensa collaboration details revealed

Vic, 21, told me: “We released it in the UK first because musically you’re more accepting and forward thinking than America.
“The single is new territory for anyone because the mixture of house production and my flow and approach is something I’ve never heard before.”
Touring with Disclosure might have had something to do with it.
Vic revealed: “I was on tour with them in the US when I was writing the song and they did impact the sound.
“Down On My Luck was inspired by them.”
Vic’s first big break came when genre shifter Damon Albarn, 46, put in a personal request to duet with him – on his 21st birthday.
He reflected: “It was truly a great honour, he brought us on like we were family.”
Now he has tracks in the works with producer Mark Ronson, 38, and pal Rita Ora, 23.
Vic said: “We got a song we’re working on for her album but I definitely wanna get her on one of my records.
