The Bronx rapper and friends pushed today’s date as her release from prison after 6 years but so far she’s still behind bars.
A source close Remy confirmed to REVOLT that she would be released this morning between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. EST, however, a New York State parole official confirmed the rapper was still in custody as of this report.
UPDATE:
Quote:
prison officials told Remy’s husband Papoose that she would not be released as planned. The rapper was seen driving away in his white Lamborghini and remained calm despite the news.
An official at Bedford Hills informed REVOLT that Remy was involved in a disciplinary problem on July 21, the same day she called into Angie Martinez on Power 105.1. Due to that infraction, she must wait until a report about the incident has been filed.
Remy Ma reportedly spent the last week of her incarceration in solitary confinement, but her team did not believe it would delay her release.
