Apollo Nida admits lying about Kenya Moore in Textgate

It was a big to-do on season 6 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” when there was a prolonged dispute about why Kenya and Apollo were texting each other. Kenya claimed that Apollo initiated communication with her without Phaedra Parks’ knowledge. Apollo insisted that Kenya reached out to him and that she inappropriately propositioned the married man.
Kenya confronted Apollo about the false accusations during a cast trip to Mexico. He held up his story, and Kenya continued to insist that she never met with him privately.
It looks like Apollo has changed his tune now that he’s prepping for an eight-year stay in prison.
According to StraightFromTheA.com, he tried to make amends with Kenya. Supposedly, he admitted that he was the one to make first contact and even confessed that he really was trying to sleep with Kenya like she’d told he cast.
“Apollo told Kenya that he sent her text messages because he wanted to have sex with her, but after she exposed him, he lied to cover himself and to save face with his wife” the witness stated, adding that Apollo even apologized for lying on Kenya. “The two then exchanged a hug and a kiss.”
Kenya herself hasn’t spoken out on the rumors that she and Apollo have made peace, but she did post a quote on Instagram with the caption, “#lifelessons.”
