Migraine is basic and they'll know. Call early as possible, apologise profusely and say you're vomiting a lot.

Ding ding ding, say you are feeling nauseous and throwing up, and yes call in as early as possible, don't go too much into details, just say you're not feeling well, don't say why you' think you're sick just simple and to the point.

My advice is to never call in sick when you're not though, I would never... Just ask your boss for a day off.... I mean, it costs your boss money when you call in sick, your work won't get done, and let me tell you I've seen a friend getting caught by a colleague who told her boss she met her (she didn't know the other one had called in sick), oh my lord was she in trouble

It just sounds a bit iffy, it's more believable if you are "so sick but OMG I don't know why ". Better to be seen as a drama queen than a liar. Enjoy your day off though
