No way!!! That's amazing news. They were awesome live, great energy and flawless vocals. The one live album they did release was heavily edited with re-recorded vocals and stuff so hopefully this one will be the live album they deserved.

Yes according to Benny the tapes were remastered by his son Ludvig, and Benny claims the album is miles better than the horrific 1986 ABBA Live album (I have it) it is awful. I'm mostly excited for the songs which aren't really hits like "if it wasn't for the nights" and "as good as new", and of course Agnetha's unreleased ballad "I'm Still Alive" which has been floating around on bootlegs for awhile.

My hope will be that one day ABBA will release a CD with unreleased demos/alternate mixes/songs on it.

Same, I'm really excited for Rock Me and Hole In Your Soul, two of my favorite non-singles. They slay Hole In Your Soul live. I'm Still Alive is beautiful, I can't wait to hear it mastered.

I know, I think we're all holding out for that announcement. Just Like That I want more of their old stuff more than anything new

YASSS JUST LIKE THAT! The holy grail of ABBA. Unfortunately Bjorn and Benny have said they refuse to release it because they don't think it's good enough.

I know, I'm not holding out. It'll be a nice surprise (just like this live album!) if they decide to release it someday though. I'm glad it's been leaked in listenable quality, and we have a couple different versions of it too.

I think I'm gonna get the LP for this I don't have a record player, but I have The Visitors LP, original pressing still sealed, so this one would be cool to have as well.

altho im kinda dissapointed Fernando and Mamma Mia and Lay All Your Love on Me are not on the tracklist

Fernando is on there! I'm kind of surprised Mamma Mia wasn't performed considering it was a big hit for them and they did include some old stuff like Waterloo and Rock Me.

Tbh, they could've replaced either Rock Me or Why Did It Have Me (both performed on their last tour) for Mamma Mia
Apparently there could be a deluxe and standard CD version (source : ABBA Fan Club)

i think abba outgrew 'mamma mia'- it was way too cheesy for a bunch of 30 year olds (even though the girls recorded a spanish version a few months later in 1980).

abba not singing 'mamma mia' is the equivalent of gaga not singing 'lovegame' at artRAVE: a big omission but not the end of the world
